Join us for Understanding Radon in Schools, a virtual radon awareness webinar focused on schools and the impact of radon on indoor air quality. Radon is an invisible, odorless gas that occurs at elevated levels across much of Utah and is a leading cause of lung cancer. This session will explore why radon is an important consideration in school buildings, how exposure can affect students and staff, and what testing recommendations and resources are available to schools.

Clean Air Schools for U is an initiative dedicated to improving indoor air quality in K-12 schools to protect student and staff health. We focus on raising awareness of airborne hazards like radon and supporting practical solutions that ensure safer, healthier learning environments. Through education, community engagement, and collaboration with schools and stakeholders, we aim to make clean air a priority in every classroom.
