Dr. Matthew Thiese Named Fellow of the University of Utah’s Academy of Health Science Educators

Matthew S. Thiese, PhD, MSPH, Chief Operating Officer at RMCOEH, and director of the Occupational Injury Prevention Program, has been named a Fellow in the University’s Academy of Health Science Educators (AHSE). This recognition honors his sustained excellence in health sciences education, educational leadership, and scholarly contributions to teaching and learning.

The AHSE brings together faculty from across the University of Utah’s health sciences programs to promote innovation, collaboration, and evidence-based teaching. Fellows are selected for their impact on academic excellence and their leadership in developing the next generation of health professionals. Dr. Thiese’s selection reflects a career dedicated to advancing the quality and reach of occupational and environmental health education at both institutional and national levels.
