For the first time, RMCOEH has published an in-depth Impact Report, detailing how the center is making remarkable strides in its mission to protect workers and serve businesses.
The report highlights the impact of RMCOEH's:
- academic programs, which have produced 801 graduates since 1977
- research initiatives, totaling 55+ projects and $44 million in funding, into topics such as bionic engineering, the well-being of Hispanic attorneys, COVID-19 vaccines, and meeting science
- Continuing Education program that serves thousands of people and businesses each year
- efforts leading a partnership among Brigham Young University, the University of Utah, Utah State University, and Weber State University to raise awareness among young people about careers in occupational and environmental health and safety
- clinical services that help get injured workers back to health as fast as possible
- outreach efforts that have touched an estimated 663 million people in the last year
