Since 2002, RMCOEH has been proud to house the Mountain West OSHA Education Center, offering a comprehensive range of open-enrollment courses in Utah, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and South Dakota — in addition to on-site courses at facilities across the country — on behalf of the OSHA Training Institute.
Our OSHA courses are taught by authorized instructors and focus on the health and safety of workers across an organization specific to industries and situations. Designed to help employers ensure their workers meet OSHA standards, these courses equip attendees with invaluable knowledge on topics such as excavation and trenching, handling hazardous materials, construction safety, and much more.

Outreach Training Program
The Mountain West OSHA Education Center facilitates OSHA’s voluntary Outreach Training Program. This program promotes workplace safety and health and equips workers with more knowledge about their rights and workplace hazards.

Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals
The certificate program in Public Sector Safety & Health Fundamentals supports OSHA’s mission by training public sector employees in occupational safety and health to reduce incident rates for workers in state and local governments. Participants have the opportunity to earn certificates for construction and general Industry training. Participants can choose from a variety of topics such as occupational safety and health standards for construction or general industry, safety and health management, accident investigation, fall hazard awareness and recordkeeping. Although this program was primarily designed for public sector employees, it is available for anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of occupational safety and health.
