SHIFT Onboard, which stands for "Success and Health Impacts For Transit Operators during Onboarding," continues to provide enhanced training and support for newly hired bus operators throughout their first year on the job. The program comprises a combination of group activities and discussions during the initial training phase, followed by collaborative and supportive online challenges designed to bolster operators' success and well-being.

These online challenges encompass activities such as setting health and job success objectives, monitoring progress towards these goals, and engaging in brief training modules focused on enhancing both health and job performance. Moreover, supervisors of new operators undergo specialized training to better support the safety, health, and overall well-being of incoming employees as they navigate their roles.
