This community-engaged research collaboration between the Northern Arapaho tribe and University of Utah researchers seeks to (1) characterize indoor and outdoor environmental exposures using a citizen science approach, (2) characterize related respiratory health outcomes, and (3) examine the effect of real-time exposure feedback on changes to risk perception and behavior. Ongoing and reciprocal communication with the N. Arapaho community will ensure translational success of this project. Ultimately, this effort will be used to empower the tribe, engage the community in research, and inform future environmental health work. This project is a collaboration with Mr. Steve Babits, N. Arapaho Natural Resource Office.
