Nancy Daher, ME, PhD

I serve as an Associate Professor within the Division of Occupational and Environmental Health and affiliated Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational & Environmental Health. My research is dedicated to understanding and addressing the complex challenges associated with air pollution. Specifically, I focus on characterizing indoor and outdoor air quality, with a particular emphasis on source apportionment, particle oxidative potential, air toxics characterization and risk assessment. My interests also extend to aerosol generation and exposure systems, air quality modeling, and community-based monitoring. Through close collaboration with local community partners, I actively participate in addressing environmental justice issues related to air pollution and health disparities. Findings from my research efforts have significantly influenced the development of various state and federal regulatory environmental policies.
