Darrah Sleeth, PhD, CIH

My background in industrial hygiene research and teaching, as well as being a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), provide the foundation for me to successfully contribute to the RMCOEH Education and Research Center (ERC). Over the past 12 years I have been an important contributor to research and teaching at RMCOEH. I currently serve as Director of the Industrial Hygiene program, where I manage all aspects of the IH program. I plan to continue providing a world-class educational experience for our students, both in the classroom and through applied research activities. My research interests include air sampler design and testing, occupational and environmental exposure assessment, and indoor air quality. I have not only designed and developed state-of-the-art laboratory facilities for air sampler testing, but I have also been involved with numerous field studies to collect "real-world" air samples.
