I am an Associate Professor, Principal Investigator (PI) on frontline worker and pediatric studies, and Associate Program Director of Occupational Medicine Residency. I am Board Certified in Occupational Medicine. My educational responsibilities for resident training include clinical training and teaching a core OM required course, critical to help prepare residents for the significant clinical prevention content on the ABPM-OM certifying exam. I have a dedicated career emphasis in occupational and environmental medicine research. I am heading three CDC funded studies focused on COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccine Effectiveness (VE) in frontline worker and pediatric populations. Several publications in high impact journal have been published from these cohorts. I also serve the community and the state as a medical director for OMC Surveillance Program for state employees and Westinghouse Nuclear plant located in Ogden, Utah. I currently serve or have served on various committees at local, regional, and national levels.
