Nancy Daher, ME, PhD

I serve as an Associate Professor within the Division of Occupational and Environmental Health and affiliated Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational & Environmental Health. My research is dedicated to understanding and addressing the complex challenges associated with air pollution. Specifically, I focus on characterizing indoor and outdoor air quality, with a particular emphasis on source apportionment, particle oxidative potential and air toxics characterization. My interests also extend to air quality modeling and community-based monitoring using low-cost sensors. Through close partnerships with regulatory agencies, local governments, and community organizations, I work to translate research into actionable strategies that promote cleaner air. Findings from my research efforts have significantly influenced the development of various state and federal regulatory environmental policies.
