Mike Humphrey, WHNP-BC
Mike Humphrey, WHNP-BC, FNP-C, is a Nursing Instructor at the Annie Taylor Dee School of Nursing, primarily teaching in the DNP-FNP program and contributing to the BSN program. He is also involved in integrating an Occupational Health emphasis into the FNP program. Mike earned his BSN with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012 and completed his DNP, focusing on Women's Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in 2019. He holds dual national certifications as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). With over 22 years of service in the United States Air Force, Mike has extensive experience in leadership, emergency services, triage, emergency medicine, labor and delivery, and women's and family health. He has also served as the sexual assault medical manager at Hill AFB. Committed to mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals, Mike is dedicated to fostering confident and competent nurses and nurse practitioners.
