German Ellsworth, MD, MPH, MOH
Dr. Ellsworth is an assistant professor at the Rocky Mountain Center for Occupational and Environmental Health and a board-certified occupational medicine physician. He is a Senior and HIMS-designated FAA Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) and conducts pilot physicals at the University of Utah South Jordan and Farmington Health Centers. His medical practice also focuses on work-related injury care, return-to-work evaluations, fitness-for-duty assessments, and medical surveillance examinations. He currently serves as the associate medical director for the University of Utah Occupational Medicine Clinics. As part of his clinical practice, he enjoys supervising and mentoring occupational medicine residents and medical students. Additionally, Dr. Ellsworth teaches in the Master of Occupational Medicine degree program and serves on education and clinical committees within the School of Medicine. Dr. Ellsworth worked as co-investigator on the BEEHIVE and SHIELD studies.
