I am currently the Deputy Director of the Directorate of Technical Support and Emergency Management, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), U.S Department of Labor. Prior to working at OSHA, I was Associate Professor (tenured) and RMCOEH’s Industrial Hygiene Program Director. I maintain an adjunct appointment and continue to teach in RMCOEH’s programs and serve on the RMCOEH Advisory Board. My past work experiences include OSHA consultant, private consultation, U.S. Public Health Service, and the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. I obtained my PhD in Environmental Health from Colorado State University where I focused on Industrial Hygiene and Industrial Toxicology. I also received my MSPH from the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health. I have more than 40 peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters.
